I see the story of Next Step House as an incredibly powerful and inspiring story. My journey from overcoming opiate addiction, needing MAT during a course of my recovery and relying on government assistance to becoming a homeowner, business owner, and a certified professional in the recovery field is a testament to not just resilience and dedication but a healthy support system and many stepping stones along the way. 

Next Step House is born from a deep will of personal experience and a genuine desire to help others navigate the challenges of recovery. Our services such as Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Recovery Coach, and Peer Support Specialist further solidify our ability to provide comprehensive and empathetic support. As the owner of this establishment carrying my experience, strength and hope. This allows me to meet individuals where they are in their journey and provide them with the support system they need to further their hopes and dreams. 

My story highlights the critical role that strong healthy relationships and a supportive environment plays in long-term sobriety and success. From government assistance to Habitat for Humanity, from Habitat for Humanity to home owner. From food stamps and medicaid to being solely reliable on my own accord. Each step along the way played a crucial part in my life, I see it as a success! My hopes, dreams, and family was all created through this journey. This I wish for all individuals going through their recovery journey. To not just be sober but successful and happy within themselves whatever that may be for them.
